Yunyi Chen is an associate at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP, focusing on copyright and other intellectual property and litigation matters.
Before joining O+Z, Yunyi was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York, where her practice focused on complex commercial and securities litigation matters in federal and state courts.
Yunyi earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she graduated cum laude. While at Harvard, Yunyi worked as a student attorney for the Recording Artists Project and the International Human Rights Clinic, and as a research assistant for Professor Vicki C. Jackson. Yunyi earned her B.A. in history from Yale University, graduating cum laude with distinction in the major, with her thesis winning the Williams Prize in East Asian Studies. Prior to attending law school, Yunyi earned an M.F.A. with distinction in Creative Writing from the University of Hong Kong.
