Matthew Fleischman is an associate at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP, where his practice focuses on copyright and other intellectual property and litigation matters.
Matt has represented clients in numerous industries, including financial services, natural foods, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and automobiles. Matt has extensive experience counseling clients on electronic discovery issues, including developing document retention policies and managing all aspects of preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic documents in complex commercial litigation.
Before joining O+Z, Matt was an associate at Bruch Hanna LLP in Washington, D.C. where his practice focused on government investigations before the Securities and Exchange Commission, internal investigations, and complex commercial and securities litigation. Matt was formerly a litigation associate with the New York offices of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and McKool Smith P.C.
Matt is a member of the District of Columbia and New York bars, and is additionally admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Matt earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in Political Science and Economics. He received his J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 2010.
