Kathleen Wills
Associate
Kathleen Wills represents clients in intellectual property matters. She has handled litigation matters at virtually every procedural phase including developing case strategies, discovery, trial, and appeal. She has also handled patent prosecution matters from intake through filing.
Before joining O+Z, Kathleen was an associate at Perkins Coie, LLP and Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox PLLC in Washington, D.C, where she represented clients on complex patent litigation and trademark matters. She clerked for Judge Jimmie V. Reyna of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and interned at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and U.S. International Trade Commission.
Kathleen received her J.D. from George Mason University, where she was President of the Trial Advocacy Association and member of the Civil Rights Law Journal. Before law school, Kathleen received her B.S. in Neuroscience from George Mason University’s Honors College and worked in industry at the National Institutes of Health.
Kathleen is a member of the Maryland and D.C. bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Supreme Court, and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
