Brian C. Stuart is an associate at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP, where his practice focuses on litigating complex copyright cases and other intellectual property disputes.
Before joining O+Z, Brian was a litigation associate at the D.C. office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where he represented clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including in areas such as intellectual property, securities regulation, real estate, and government investigations.
Prior to joining Fried Frank, Brian was a law clerk for the Hon. G. Steven Agee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Hon. Callie V. S. Granade of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.
Brian graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was editor-in-chief of the Mississippi Law Journal. During law school, he was an extern for the Hon. Michael T. Parker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
Brian earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Mississippi, graduating cum laude. Prior to law school, Brian worked as an environmental engineer for the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality.
Brian is a member of the D.C. and Mississippi bars, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth & Fifth Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern & Southern Districts of Mississippi.
