Matt Oppenheim is the managing partner of Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP. For over fifteen years, Matt has been representing businesses in commercial and strategic matters. He is an experienced intellectual property, entertainment and technology attorney who both litigates matters in court and counsels clients in private.
Matt has been actively involved in some of the most prominent Internet and copyright issues of our time. On behalf of both large and small clients, Matt has appeared in courts nationwide, negotiated significant technology transactions and provided strategic and legal guidance on internet, copyright and general legal issues.

Julie Chen is a Senior Counsel at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP, where her practice focuses on civil litigation, commercial dispute resolution, and strategic legal counsel for businesses and nonprofits. Julie has extensive experience both in representing clients’ interests before courts and agencies and in providing practical, in-house legal guidance and solutions to businesses and nonprofits.
As a litigator, Julie handles a broad variety of commercial matters in federal and state courts and arbitration proceedings, including in the areas of contract, partnership, antitrust, fraud, intellectual property, employment and securities law, among others. In addition, Julie represents clients’ interests before federal policymaking bodies, such as the Federal Communications Commission, the Federal Trade Commission and the Copyright Royalty Board.

Scott Zebrak is a founding partner at Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP. For over 15 years, he has represented clients in litigation, transactions, and counseling matters involving copyright and Internet issues, as well as trademarks, trade secrets, and advertising.
Scott has extensive experience with the management, protection, and commercial exploitation of IP portfolios for business ranging from start-ups to multinationals. He also has extensive experience with all aspects of content, licensing, anti-piracy, and DMCA matters. Scott regularly advises clients that do business in an online or digital environment.

Michele Harrington Murphy is a Senior Counsel with Oppenheim + Zebrak, LLP, where she focuses on the firm’s litigation matters.
For nearly twenty years, Michele’s practice has been dedicated principally to litigation. From 1995 to 2012, she practiced law with the Washington, D.C. office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP. There she represented national corporate clients in litigation matters involving employment law and related issues. Most of her practice centered on large, complex litigation matters in federal court. However, she also represented employers in cases brought by individual plaintiffs in federal and state court and before administrative bodies. Her experience covers the litigation process from start to finish, including conducting investigations, handling discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, negotiating settlements, and trial.
